    Not that I necessarily care, but I'm curious. Why did Welsh's career only last 8 years? Looks like he was 31 when he retired, and he didn't have totally horrible numbers in his last year ('86, with the Reds). I'm guessing some sort of arm trouble, but I don't know. Just thinking about it.

    Nope, back in the 80's those were pretty bad numbers.
