    Your favorite "ear candy" music

What's your favorite group or album that you listen to just purely for "ear candy".. Doesn't have to have awesome musicains, be popular, or the lyrics don't have to make sense. Something you listen to for pure enjoyment.

Of course, it doesn't have to be a bad band, but I'm thinking of something that was VERY overplayed in its time, or something that people generally don't list as one of the greatest albums of all times..

Mine is the Cars "Heartbeat City".. Still love it after hearing it 10000000 times.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

I'm pretty sure the box set is given to every 16-year-old boy from a rural area.

I've grown musically since then, but still smile each time I hear the Loaf.

i think everytime you rented an apartment in the early '90s, you were given a copy of The Cars' Greatest Hits, as well as Heartbeat City - everyone had those albums.

my guilty pleasures (along with the cars): Abba, Blondie and the early BeeGees (before that whole disco thing, they were a rather dark group).

Cracked Rear Veiw by Hottie and the Blowfish. I will admit that I loved this disc when it came out and still listen to it now on occassion. I will even admit to seeing them in concert and they were really good!
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

While driving in the car the other day, I found myself crooning to the intro of 3 Dog Night's "Just An Old-Fashioned Love Song" in my distinctive dulcet Roy tones.

    Shoot me now. Please.

Don't feel too bad - I sometimes find myself singing Carpenters songs in the shower.[/commiseration]

I actually like most of the songs on Milli Vanilli's album. I know it was a bunch of studio musicians but its got a nice beat and is easy to dance to
More often than not, when someone is telling me a story all I can think about is that I can't wait for them to finish so that I can tell my own story that's not only better, but also more directly involves me.
