6 innings is not the problem with Ortiz, I sincerely hope Narron takes him out before the seventh though. That is when it seems he runs out of gas, no matter how many pitches he has thrown.

I hope your right... I'd love to see the reds take 2 of 3 from the marlins, and maybe make a run at .500...

Most people I talk with love Marty. It's a certain subset that hates everything about the Reds, that hates Marty. Baseball is a sport, a game.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

If the right handed hitters would do something, this would be a good lineup against Willis. Pena has stopped hitting the long ball. Kearns' numbers are sub-Aurilia. (Funny how everyone loves Kearns, hates Aurilia, yet RA has better numbers accross the board.) Lopez is slumping now, particularly right handed. Freel is slumping. And Aurilia isn't doing much since since being out of the regular lineup.

I agree that it is a mistake to rest Griffey and Dunn against a lefty when the right handed hitters don't hit.

    Kearns since he came back

    .303/.314/.545/.860

He's young, cheap and a better baseball player than Aurilia.
