C Eric Dampier
C PJ Brown
UTIL Jamal Tinsley
UTIL Stephen Jackson
Bench: Al Harrington, Mike Miller, Caron Butler

I really needed a shot blocker (Swift) so thats the main part of the deal. Then I saw that Josh Smith blocks about 2 per game, so that will really help coming from outside of the center position, plus I think he is going to have a break out season. Miller puts up numbers about as good as Hinrich, more assists actually (not by much), but Hinrich will probably put up better numbers this year. Also, I didn't have a whole lot of room for Caron Butler to play.


I offered this trade to someone, but I haven't heard from them yet:

They get:
- PJ Brown
- Stephen Jackson

I get:
- Okafor
- Gerald Wallace

Okafor makes the center positions solid, Wallace will put up good numbers this year IMO (good defense too), and I have no need for Stephen Jackson (who won't have as good number this year with Artest back). They really need someone to play guard, and they have Yao Ming and Tim Duncan for the center positions. He's actually playing Okafor at Forward, so I think it would be a good deal for both sides.

I would do the trade that you offered. But I would pass on the one that was offered to you. Hinrich is better than Andre Miller.
