Milton catches Chad Moeller looking to open the third, then blows a few Eighty-Nine Expresses past the pitcher. But he hits Brady Clark, the second batter to feel the mild discomfort of the 89E train today. JJ Hardy, who has homered in each of the past two games and singled already today, runs the string all the way out before popping out to second.

    No score after 3.

The Reds go in order in the 4th. No score. Two pitchers with an era over six and no runs scored.......not yet anyway.

Glover strikes out Lopez, then Dunn for the second time (five Ks for Gary). Javy lifts a vicious popup to short to end the inning. Still no score after 3.5.

Overbay flies to deep left. The homers are getting closer to coming. You can just feel it.

Overbay flies out (drink) to center to open the bottom of 4. Lee flies out (drink) to center as well. Milton completes the 1-2-3 frame by whiffing Geoff Jenkins (that's four in four innings). We're flying along and have no score after 4.

I'd still rather see fly outs than seeing the ball flying out.

Kearns is an easy K's. he has struck out 9 out of his last 20 AB's. That's a slump.

Austin Kearns stands stock still for a pair of strikes to open the fifth (if there's one thing Glover does, it's not walk people) then whiffs. Jacob "The Future" Cruz quickly flies out to left. EdE goes down swinging (seven Ks for Gary) and we go, scoreless as ever, to the bottom of 5.
