I use the same user name over there. I don't post there (or any other message board) very often but read it almost every day.

As much as I would like to believe that those who root for the same teams I do exhibit a level of sophisitication above that of the average sports fan, reality sometimes proves otherwise.

I go to http://boards.bengals.com/forums/. That's the same one you can link to from the Bengals official web site http://www.bengals.com/

Bengalszone for me and my username is the same.

I dont like their board software though. I like vbulletin software. They use a knock-off.

    Re: Bengals Forum?

Well, I've had it with the Bengals Huddle site. Multiple threads (sometimes three or four) on the same subject are left on the board, and trolls are allowed to continue for months on end. Yesterday was the final straw, and I don't plan to go back.

I have dug up three Bengals boards that look promising, based primarily on their appearance, number of members, number of posts, variety of forums, etc. Without taking a lot of time to read all three, I'd like to narrow this list to one, so any input (pro or con) that any of you have on any of these three sites would be appreciated:

    BengalsZone
    Go-Bengals
    Bengals.com

Even if you posted in this thread earlier, I'd like to know if you have any further insights.

I've been posting with the Huddles crowd since its inception on cincinnati.com but their refusal to deal with blatant trolls amazes me.

I've been hanging around the Huddles for a while now, but the place is starting to tick me off. I've checked out Bengalszone, but they need to send you en email to validate your account and for some reason the email doesn't show up in my inbox even though the site says it's been sent.

Make sure it's not incorrectly being maked as spam/junk mail by your email client or web application.

I never did get the email, but their site is letting me post now. I guess I'm ok. What I like about that site is that they have a separate place for folks who want to trash talk. It keeps a lot of that out of the regular posting areas. I'm not one for trash talking much and I don't care for all of the masked profanity that shows up in some of those kind of posts.

Would you all be interested in me setting something up? I still have plenty of Bandwidth and server space to spare.
