I didn't see the whole interview but what struck me is that he made it clear that it's still safe to have sex with him as long as he wears protection. He doesn't want HIV to curb his wild sex life. Amusing
Tiger's blood is apparently very sketchy.
I don't like to sound egotistical, but every time I stepped up to the plate with a bat in my hands, I couldn't help but feel sorry for the pitcher.

Well that is true though. It would be safe to have sex with him as long as he wears protection. I really don't know his motives for coming public with such information, but perhaps it is to clear up stereotypes about this disease since it really hasn't been a media talking point for a long time.
Is blackmail okay if the person being blackmailed isn't likable?
He did say that he hasn't used a condom a couple of times since his diagnosis but that it's "impossible" that his partner(s) could have been infected.
That's not cool.
He is saying he has paid out $10 million.

He says part of the reason for going public was to stop the barrage of “shakedowns,” telling Lauer one prostitute even took a cell phone picture of his HIV drugs in his medicine cabinet and threatened to sell it to the tabloids.
“That is money taken away from my kids,” said Sheen, who admitted to Lauer he expects some of his former sex partners to file lawsuits.
“Are you still paying some of these people?” Lauer asked.
“Not after today I’m not,” he said.
Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves. -- Carl Sagan (Pale Blue Dot)
So, scientists think Antabuse, a drug used in treating alcoholics, may eradicate the HIV virus. If it does work I wonder if Charlie could give up drinking to get cured?

How much money does he have? It almost sounds like $10 million is just a nuisance.
I may be wrong but I think I read an article awhile back that with the new drug treatments HIV essentially completely disappears and can't be transmitted. I know it's pretty amazing what they have been able to do with the disease.
