Well, they're back.
The Bengals announced this morning that all fans entering Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday for the Steelers game will be patted down.
I'll hide and let the natives commence restlessness.....

As long as they confiscate all yellow towels.
I really dislike this "for show" security stuff to give the illusion of safety.
If terrorists want to blow up Paul Brown stadium, they will. Patting down everyone isn't going to prevent it.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

I think it has to do more with alcohol than bombs.
They don't want people to bring outside boos in.

I read in an article that Chad Johnson was considering a new celebration after a TD. He would pretend to pat down the ref when he raises his hands to signal touchdown. That sounds funny as heck, but I fear that something like that could lead to a penalty. I would still laugh my head off if he did it, as long as it didn't cost us the game.
He'd get tossed out of the game for touching the ref
I'd like to see it
Go Gators!
Ok, I didn't know that. Glad to see it was for something even more important than security Can't be cutting into beer profits at the stadium.Originally Posted by redsfan30

Is Danny Graves going to be in attendance?Originally Posted by redsfan30

Out of curiosity, when did the ridiculous overpricing of beer at the stadium/ballpark/concert venue begin? Is the justification solely to avoid drunkenness at the game and unsafe driving afterwards, with the added benefit that the owners can reap absolutely ridiculous profits?Originally Posted by REDREAD

Enquirer had some pretty spot on letters today, in my opinion.

It isn't about alcohol.
That's what I've been thinking since they announced it. People have been bringing in booze to football games since Day 1 and they are cracking down on it now? Doesn't make sense.Originally Posted by creek14
I was at the game yesterday and the pat downs they are doing won't find anything. Basically you had to raise both arms up and they patted both sides once. So unless you had something strapped under you arm they would not find it with that pat down.
They would find what they are looking for.Originally Posted by Reds Fanatic
