    Another death

The Observer is reporting that Johnny Grunge (from Public Enemy) died this week. His tag team partner Rocco Rock died a few years ago.

Grunge apparently passed away in the town I went to highschool in, Peachtree City, GA.

A lot of the guys from the WCW days live in PTC (Benoit, Regal, Dave Taylor, etc).

Looks like sleep apnea, really sad. I had corrective surgery for sleep apnea last year, I can tell such a huge difference in the quality of sleep I get now. I used to wake up gasping for air in the middle of the night. I guess some people aren't fortunate enough to wake up. RIP Johnny.

Ex-pro wrestler 'Bam Bam' Bigelow dies

    THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

HUDSON, Fla. -- Scott "Bam Bam" Bigelow, the tattooed heavyweight professional TV wrestler, has died. He was 45.

He was found dead in his home on Friday, his brother Todd Bigelow said Monday.

Preliminary autopsy results did not show signs of foul play, but a cause of death will not be known until toxicology tests are completed in a few weeks, Pasco County sheriff's spokesman Doug Tobin said.

Bigelow had been struggling with a persistent infection and diabetes, his brother said.

Bigelow wrestled with Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant during his two decades as a sports entertainer. Bigelow's flame-tattooed scalp and 6-foot-2, 400-pound frame made him recognizable in and out of the ring. He retired in 2004.

A service is planned for Friday in his hometown of Neptune, N.J.

Hudson isn't too far from my Pasco County office. Had no idea he lived around here.

    Bam Bam was awesome. RIP.

It's sad that these deaths aren't all that shocking anymore. I guess getting loaded up on steroids and blow just so you can wrestle takes a toll.

I could care less about the ribbing from friends, the only time I'm embarrassed to be a wrestling fan is when guys I cheered for die from stuff that's just "part of the business."

I really liked Bam bam when he first hit the scene. Wrestling may have been fake but that Tattoo was for real. I think he even had a bit part in the Movie "Major Payne" as hired muscle.
It's absolutely pathetic that people can't have an opinion from actually watching games and supplementing that with stats. If you voice an opinion that doesn't fit into a black/white box you will get completely misrepresented and basically called a tobacco chewing traditionalist...

Re: WWE wrestler Eddie Guerrero found dead

I dont think Bam Bam died from steroids, probably the fact that he was over 400 pounds was a bigger reason

Sad stuff though, I remember watchin him when I was little.. he was a good bad guy, I always rooted against him.

    RIP

Miss Elizebeth is dead? Wow, I didn't know that. I was so hot for her back in the day.

Mike Awesome and Sherri Martel too.
