Sadly, the way he is going you may see Kurt Angle on that list all to soon.

I was just googling that one, Raisor. He is one I remember well. Fall 2004... had a heart attack at his home in Georgia. Hate to sound macabre, but that list has raised my curiosity. It almost seems illegal that nothing has been done. MLB gets Congressional hearings (despite no fatalities) and this crap happens every year in wrestling. And if Congress thinks kids do not idolize these wrestlers, then they just ain't thinkin'.Originally Posted by Raisor

Gino died on February 4, 1986 after an overdose on cocaine. Hernandez seemed destined for greatness but his cocaine addiction and lifestyle caught up with him. It was rumored that he owed Mafia connected people some money from gambling debts at the time of his death.Gino Hernandez - 29 -Was shot, don't remember what happened..
Jay Youngblood - 30 -don't remember...
On September 1, 1985, Youngblood died while touring in the South Pacific. He may have ruptured his spleen in a match and had a series of heart attacks when rushed to the back and died.
Buzz Sawyer was wrestling on the independent circuit when he died from a heart attack on February 7, 1992. Sawyer was known for his crazy antics such as trying to fight the police outside a bar and also his drug abuse.
Found these at wikipedia.

Use to be a HUGE wrestling fan, but havent watched much since the whole Bret Hart thing in WWE went down.........yeah I'm still bitter.......yeah I know its just supposed to be for entertainment. But it is startling how many of these guys die young.
Raisor, the only thing that has been released in the death of Chris Candido is a blood clot in the lungs. he broke his leg wrestling for TNA and had surgery. He flew home and died a couple of days later.
The family is keeping the autopsy private.
And not to be an internet smark, but if anyone still wants to watch good wrestling there is a promotion called Ring of Honor, ROH. I would check them out.Chris Candido - 33 drugs
I still watch occasionally. I like TNA. X Division rawks, and Petey Williams has the best finisher ever.
Dubito Ergo Cogito Ergo Sum.
A lot of those deaths had nothing to do with wrestling or anything wrestling related. I also think that it's unfair that Vince gets blamed for these guys deaths. They are grown men and women and make their own decisions. No one did anything about it before Vince and you don't hear them be blamed. I'm not a McMahon apologist, I think he's a snake, but it's not within the realm of reality to blame him for guys overdosing or having heart attacks because they are on the juice.
"My mission is to be the ray of hope, the guy who stands out there on that beautiful field and owns up to his mistakes and lets people know it's never completely hopeless, no matter how bad it seems at the time. I have a platform and a message, and now I go to bed at night, sober and happy, praying I can be a good messenger." -Josh Hamilton
As far as "juicing" goes -- Vince, historically, has favored promoting the "bodybuilder" looking wrestler (even started a "World Bodybuilding Federation" that failed a long while back). I would imagine that the interenal pressure on wrestlers working for the WWF/WWE over the years has been huge to "bulk up" and get bigger in order to have a better chance of moving up the card.Originally Posted by Jpup

And I'll venture a guess that Vince has no connections with steroid suppliers for his boys and/or girls...?!?!? Ask Roddy Piper.
Vince makes me think of a Rob Zombie song... "Scum of the Earth".
