Well, they made the first drive look WAY too easy. It looked like USC against a D3 team.

I know the Colts lead right now, but their defense eats crap.

What a game so far. If the Bengals D can start to figure out how to stop the Colts' receivers, they can win this game.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like they're going to be able to stop the Colts' receivers...

seems my 5-2 prediction ain't gonna happen, but Johnny Footstool's 63-63 prediction is a distinct possibility.

Re: Let the Hype Begin! Colts/Bengals Thread

The Colts methodical, no mistake offense is a horrible matchup for the Bengals. The Bengals defesne rests entirely on the other team making mistakes. Peyton doesn't make them. I didn't think they'd have much trouble shredding the Bengal defesne to pieces. But even I didn't imagine they'd make it look as easy as they have. What's amazing is how many 3rd and 10+ conversions they have. And the receivers are WIDE OPEN. I hate to say I could see this coming, but I had a feeling.

And the refs seem to hate the Bengals, which isn't helping.

Bengals are going to win this one.

They're flat-out rope-a-doping this Colts squad. If Manning keeps even half of his current pace up on the road for 60 minutes then he is the greatest quarterback who ever lived, bar none.

I just don't see it happening. The Bengals have weathered the assault and trail by a touchdown. Fun stuff.

This game is incredible! ORH ... we expect a report. (A short one, since it has to be hard to type.)

As good as Indy's offense is (and it's incredible--once in a generation good), their defense is nearly as bad. Pathetic.

Bengals are going to get the ball back with 4:00 left after Peyton throws 3 consecutive incomplete passes.

Colts are in victory formation after recovering the onside kick.

    45-37 Final.
