    Gonzaga's Adam Morrison

The kid is unreal, I knew little of him last season, but this season I will have to see what the kid is really made of. What do you guys think of him? I know Sportscenter is trying to draw up comparisons of Larry Bird, but we all know how comparisons go.

When he put 43 up on a Tom Izzo coached defense during the Maui Tournament (albeit in triple OT) he won me over.....

    He's extremely good.

With him, Ravio and Batista this might be the best Gonzaga team of their run.

Adam Morrison is the best player many people have never heard of. But over the course of the season, he will become a household name....that's how good he is.

    Morrison is a stud.

I'm not so sure about his hair style and mustache. He looks like a model from a 1970's Sears catalog.

He's a great player! I'm not quite ready to put him Larry Bird territory but he may just be the best player since Bird at the college level. Morrison may be like Bird in that he may very well lead Gonzaga to a Final Four this year. Also Gonzaga has a better supporting cast than Bird did.

Morrison is a great scorer, but he is not even in the same zip code as Bird as a passer or rebounder, and he doesn't have the same kind of range that Bird had on his jumper. He reminds me more of Keith Van Horn (while in college) than anyone else. Like Van Horn, I suspect Morrison will be an effective scorer in the pros but not much else.

The Bird comparisons are dead wrong, agreed Hook. Bird had the best on court vision I have ever seen and he was a much better shooter than Morrison. And what made Bird the best was his competitive fire and cockiness. I love Morrison don't get me wrong, just sick of the ESPN comparisions.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

    No way!

I love the hair and the 70s porn star 'stache. He just needs to change his name to 'Chest Rockwell' or 'Brock Landers'.
