Want to change the way you browse the web forever?

    www.maxthon.com

In my opinion, this web browser is just about the best thing since sliced bread.

It is free to download and use, with NO ads etc. etc. whatsoever.

It has built-in pop-up blockers etc. etc. etc. all that good stuff.

But the best part is the way that it allows you to surf the web. Under a single over-arching web window, you can open up as many individual "tabs" which each contain their own web page window. Flipping between open web pages is as easy as clicking the tab.

    This program is unbelievably slick.

It also shows your available RAM, IP address, how many tabs open etc. etc.

I'll never use plain-jane windows internet explorer ever again.

Mozilla's Firefox is a tabbed browser, and I think the Opera browser was the first. Internet Explorer will copy the idea for IE 7. I agree, it's SO much better than browsers without tabs.

Help stamp out, eliminate, and do away with redundancy.

i have ff 1.5 with the forecastfox, faster fox, tabbrowser preferences, and the IE Tab (opens up any link in IE within firefox, very helpful) extensions.

    Maxthon fan here.

FF slows to a crawl with 40 tabs open, Maxthon is fine

Didn't Maxthon used to be called MyIE? I used it a few years ago...the reason that I don't now is for security reasons. It uses IE's engine to do the browsing, which leaves it with all the same security holes that IE has.

I use Netscape 8 - FF engine, tabbed, and allows you to switch on the fly between IE functionality and firefox if you're having any trouble with a particular page displaying something etc.., great security, hardly ever a problem with latest version.
