    The Ultimate Nightmare

Semifinal game between me and another team, and we tied.

And our league has no tie-breaker system in place for the playoffs.

I'm thinking a best 3 of 5 coin flip is in order here.

    Ugh.

    That's just a terrible outcome.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

I would say it should go to whoever finished higher in the regular season standings.

See, I would agree with that, but then again, I scored more points than anyone.

Mosty leagues I've played in removes the defensive scoring. If that's a tie, then the kicker, then the tight end.

Well, the system didn't resolve it like we had hoped. It just shows the finals bracket with onyl one team.

Since no rules were in place, I think we have to do a coin toss. It just stinks because I was the #1 seed, the most points scored, best winning pct.....now my season has come down to a stinking coin toss. Darn that Mushin Muhammed....

I should tell my tale of woe on the bad beat thread.

    Re: The Ultimate Nightmare

We just flipped a coin but then made a sweet deal to divy up our total winnings 60-40 (The person who scores the most points between us gets 60%).

    It was actually pretty cool.
