Wow, didn't think LA would give up Edwin Jackson for that. I thought they would want a big time bat.
I can't believe the Dodgersdid this trade. Tiffany has Randy Myers-like ability and will be the D'Rays closer by 2007. Jackson has gone from prospect to suspect, but Lance Carter is the kind of guy you can usually find cheap, and Danys Baez is overrated. The Dodgers do need a closer, but they paid a steep price in giving up Tiffany.
Great trade for the Dodgers.
Baez should shore up what was an awful bullpen last season.
Jackson's been wildly overhyped (and failing to live up to it). Tiffany works in the 80s and suffers from longball woes.

I think it's kind of an interesting trade for both teams. But certainly, in the short term, it favors the Dodgers.
