I don't know exactly when but it should be pretty soon. They usually announce all that in January because the tickets will go on sale in mid February.

I heard in 2006 that whenever Milton pitches in GABP the fans in the outfield seats will be part of a "get a game used ball day".

I think this should be moved up to 5/1.

Here's a tip I learned this year: wear a shirt and tie and the ushers believe anything.

I bought a 5 dollar "top 6" ticket this year and snuck into the lower level behind 3rd base. While I was sitting there with a friend, we watched the ushers kick out not 1, but 5 groups of people who were attempting the same thing? The difference: I had just gotten off work and was still dressed nicely while they were all in their saturday afternoon finest.

Incidentally, you forgot the most important days at the ballpark:

May 14th (3rd inning): Carl Linder Appreciation At-Bat
June 3rd: Austin Kearns Oversized Hat Day
July 1st: Brian Rose Presents "Useless Farmhand Awareness Day"
August 21st: Paul Wilson ERA Calculator Day

On Tuesday night, Fox Sports South showed "Ears" sitting with his fiance in the crowd at the UK basketball game. He was wearing one of those "Keep on Trucking"-type hats you might purchase at your local BP station. It appeared as though the vinyl mesh portion of the cap was ready to explode from his massive coif.

The boy has one impressive dome.

I wear a shirt & tie when I go to get a car repaired, when I need to return something or dispute something. The difference in the level of respect and assistance you received is quite often a night and day difference.

I take an approach from the opposite end of the spectrum.

I grow a three day beard, don't shower, and stay up drinking all night the day before I go in. Then I get there and twitch a lot and talk about the last guy that tried to screw me in a business transaction and how he's re-habbing nicely. I go for the Nick Nolte mug shot look.

    But that's just me.

It's also a good approach for getting your drivers license renewed when the take the photo. That way if you ever get pulled over after a bender, you'll look normal.

Hey, I've noticed that, too. If I go into a clothing store wearing a sweatshirt, jeans, Nikes, and a ballcap, I'll get little attention from the employees. But if I show up in a dress shirt and tie, I get called "sir" and am treated very cordially. In fact, it's pretty much that way with any type of store.

My problem is that any time I go to Walmart in a tie, at least one person will ask me if I work there. It never fails.

Help stamp out, eliminate, and do away with redundancy.

I'm figuring the last homestand with the Pirates will be a great time to give away all of those leftover Casey bobbleheads sitting in storage. Maybe the Reds can hire Santa's elves to get those repainted in black and gold during this slow time?
