Penn State finally wins it 26-23 in triple OT. Should have been done a long time before that if either team could kick. Penn State misses an easy FG late in regulation. They both miss in the 1st OT. The FSU kicker misses again in the 3rd OT. The Penn State kicker barely makes his kick to win it in the 3rd OT.

Questionable play calling by Joe Paterno, IMO.

In the first OT, with a freshman kicker, you can't just resign yourself to three plays and kick. If you've got the ability to move the ball, at least make an attempt.

I hope nobody thinks that was just a great defensive slug fest. That was bad kicking, turnovers, terrible play calling, and general weak qb play. I think it's gonna be fun watching Penn State slide back into obscurity, even with this years good recruiting class.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

Penn State... could they be overrated? I have thought so all year. The schedule they had was very favorable for them. And they caught OSU before OSU (Troy Smith namely) peaked. I also think the Big Ten's bowl record this year says a lot about Penn State's year... the Big Ten was not that strong.

Put OSU against PSU on a neutral field next weekend and who wins? I know who I'd be betting on.... and it wouldn't be the Nittany Lions.
