I don't think Carroll called the TO. He loked as flabbergasted as everyone else.

Hey, what game were you watching? I seen two BAD CALLS by these refs. One didn't even get reviewed by the booth.

WERE THEY BAD CALLS OR NOT? Tell the truth.

Agreed. Either a player or assistant called the TO.

Leinart said in the post-game on field interview, "I still think we are the better team".

Were they bad calls? I want to hear you all admit it. That's all I'm asking.

Might be the best individual performance in a big game I've ever seen.

The first bad call was Young's knee being down before he flipped the ball to the running back to score the TD. But even if they got that right Texas would have still had 1st and goal at the 10. So they may have scored anyway in the next play or 2.

The other call was the pass that was not called a fumble. It looked like it probably should have been a fumble. That play was reviewed they just did not see enough evidence to overturn it.

UT player caught a pass, fumbled and SC recovered at the Texas 40 with about 9 minutes to go. Both announcers agreed it was a catch and fumble but they ruled it incomplete.

USC's OC shoudl be finding a new job. What fool calls a pass play on 2nd and 2 with 2 1/2 minutes left when you are running the clock out.

If USC had brought their brians with them this game would have been a blowout.

We should all feel very lucky. We just got to see 3 of the greatest college football players of all time play in a phenomenal national championship game. Bush, Leinhart and Vince Young. I've never seen a more dominant performance by one player at the college or pro level than Vince Young's tonight.

    Great game.

The play in the first half where Young was down before he pitched the ball. They were most likely going to score anyway, so i don't think that made a difference.

Fact is, they had a 12 point lead with under 6 minutes to go. They blew it. Their defense stinks. Texas' offense and Vince Young can be stopped.

Sure there were a couple of bad calls. But when a team puts 41 points on you when they can't even hold onto the ball, you pretty much deserve to lose IMO.

Nevertheless, that was a really enjoyable game to watch.
