Sounds like a blast to me...someone get it rolling. Who should we play? Dodgers, Braves, Cards...?

I think we should get a consensus.

Big Red Machine? 90 Reds? 2002 Reds?

Should we play someone in our division?

I do think we need to have some parameters. The game will have to be played at home. Either Cinergy or Crosley. 9 innings.

Nothing too crazy... i.e. 5 bench clearing brawls and 15 ejections. 7 Home Run in an inning. Steve Parris striking out 20.

I also think we need to have a list of people who will be responsible for specific batter/inning. That way each person knows when to start/stop. This may leave some people out, then again we have no idea how many people are in.

We could possibly get everyone in if we did commercials too.

Let's see what we have as far as a signup list. I'd like to do the first batter in the bottom of the 7th. Right now we need the intro, which will be long, and we need someone to do the top of the first. The problem here is this will have to be progressive We do not know how many hits/errors or runs so we have to go with the flow. Any ideas on structuring this a bit?

Steve Parris striking out 20... so we'll be covering, like, 8 games, huh?

Before you start the backyard radio announcer fantasy ball game, I've got one more insider question for you TeamClark. This question comes to me through a telepathic communique from ChipR: Is it true that you were the original inspiration for the 'bobblehead' doll?

Hey, it's all I could come up with on short notice...I had to get in on the most viewed thread in 'Zone history and somebody already took the 'nothing to add' tack.

I will see Micah and the boys again next week when they are back from their Colorado Springs Sky Sox/Iowa Cubs roadtrip, and will pass that message on to him for you Micah is one of our best outfielders and provides us with a power bat as well. Glad to know that someone here remembers him

Talk about that strike...if I recall, it was Montreal who held the best record that season before the strike happened...could this be deja vu?

TCII, what a great idea about this "play-by-play" thread

thanks redhot.. i bet that makes his day.. anyway what you wrote made me think... if the expos are in the hunt late in the season, watch for Selig to call a strike so that he has an excuse to fold them.....

Hope your having a great day

    Go REds!!!

Bud is now renting Major League so he can think of more ways to screw MON. At least a slug has a purpose.

The Sports Guy suggests that they create a jigsaw puzzle of Naked Bud as something for the Expos to do in the clubhouse this season

Oooh I don't know about a Naked anyhting with Bud Selig. I'd throw a game not to see any part of him exposed. Like the pun "EXPOSed"??
