He had 2 assists to go along with it and the rest of his team had 41 points. His shot total in this game will be higher than the highest single game point totals for 90% of the NBA players (if not more than 90%) this year.

81 points while taking just 46 shots is being very efficient. I am not a Kobe fan but 55 in the 2nd half is amazing.

I'd hope so. If you don't win a game when one of your guys throws up 81, there's something wrong.

I imagine that Phil Jackson had something pithy and vaguely negative to say about this, too. Shaq probably had no comment.

So...uh...maybe I was wrong, maybe Kobe can be a team unto himself.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

I really dislike Kobe Bryant. In a field such as pro sports where arrogance runs wild like mullets at a Motley Crue concert Kobe stands out head and shoulders above the rest. Hard to believe he's the same kid I really enjoyed watching the first 3 or 4 years of his career.

I really liked the Lakers when they had Shaq. Used to love to watch them during the Magic and Kareem years. But Kobe has made them my least favorite team in the NBA (besides the Celtics, whom I will always dislike)

The 76ers lost the game when Wilt scored 100.
