That must of been quite a loss, they were the Warriors then, the Sixers were an expansion team.

Well I stand corrected. Thought I read they lost the game 124-116 but obviously I was looking at something else.

Ed - I started to reply on your blog and then got interrupted at home....

I'm not a fan of Kobe's personality, but IMO he is the best basketball player today. This was my opinion before he went off for 81 and is only further reinforced now. I just don't see anyone who has the outside game, midrange game, and ability to take the ball to the hole like he does coupled with tenacious defense. He'll never be my favorite player, but he is a great basketball player.

As far as his "feud" or whatever that was with Shaq, I don't know enough to make any decision other than it just seemed silly on both of their parts. IMO, from the little I know, Shaq acted just as childish about it as Kobe if not moreso. But admittedly I did not keep track of what all was going on between them.

    Kobe drops 81 on Toronto
Better to see him dropping 81 on Toronto than dropping a female's underwear w/out her permission in Colorado...

But seriously, why do you dislike the Celtics? Just curious. (and please don't say because they suck).
