That was after he remembered what decade he was in.

I distinctly remember BobCast delivering that first sentence as "he will have wide latitude as far as building his staff." It set off my not-PC alarm at the time. I think the printed version got some polishing from the staff at the Enquirer.

Mmmmm....huh? What? (zzzzzzz) WHAT??!! Okay, I'm awake now! No more Obie baby! BobCast is off to a good start IMO, starting at the top (moving John Allen) and working his way on down to DanO. Don't stop there BobCast! The beast within me that is a Reds fan is awakening for the first time this offseason!

Looks like we didn't need the "Bobs" after all. Just one did the trick.

I'm with Steel and chili. Please, please, please no Gary Hughes. And I don't think they can be that serious about Jack McKeon.

From the other team's perspective, dealing with Kullman right now could be very interesting since his interview is taking place in the position he's applying for. You have to think he wants to make a splash while he's wearing the "interim" tag.

Just curious, how come nobody here seems to like Krivsky? I know because he was a candidate before he could somehow (although unfairly) be associated with the old regime, but he is a guy who has been a key member of a hugely successful front office (the Twins),

I think most people seem to like Krivsky. I certainly wouldn't object to Krivsky. But I think he's enough of of an unknown that it's hard to get a grasp on just how good he'll be.

Hal is the only person reporting that his old pals Hughes and McKeon are in the running, and only one mentioning Hill, too.

It looks to me like Hal's wish list, nothing more.
    Makes all the routine posts.

Which is level par for that course.

Surprised Hal didn't work in a call for playing time for Aurilia and Womack into his stuff today. Must have been hard for him.

It sure will be interesting if they were mentioned.

I think the list of candidates will say a lot about Castellini and his philosophy.

Man one day away and look what I missed! All hail the new ownership, if for nothing else than for not sitting on their hands! Its 11:16 AM, and I just cracked open a cold one!
