Giving a contract to Sammy would be like paying the check for a meal the Cubs ate.

Sammy Sosa would not interest me in the least. I don't really even know what he can actually DO on the baseball diamond anymore, let alone pay him to find out.

Sammy's done. Stick a fork in him. BTW- Washington is in the NL.
I know that pedro, but Sammy played for the AL Baltimore Orioles last season.

I do not want Sammy even if it only cost Aurillia money.

What the Reds do not need is another veteran presence.... he's too old and he's too expensive.

    And he can't pitch.

Well I'm praying they don't trade Kearns for a pitcher who's arm may fall off by July, but if you do, you surely don't bring in a retread like Sammy "off of steroids" Sosa. I'd take my chances with Denorfia first.

I say we package one of those two veteran infielders we just signed, Bergolla (can't spell), Machado, Romano, and most of the bullpen for one pitcher. We lose a lot of dead weight and gain another No. 5 starter. Heck, why mess up what we have. Five of a kind wins in most poker hands.

Even if it was ineffective, it'd be about the funniest thing since Abbott & Costello.

I say bring Sammy on board to play RF. But WMP needs to be in Center for maximum entertainment value.

    Or not.

    I doubt he'd hit 15 homers.

    No way.

for one day, just so we could say we had two 500 HR hitters on the club at the same time.

No! Sosa is done. I doubt that he could hit over 12 home runs in Little League park much less GAB.
