    Your favorite one-hit wonders, please...

Here are a few that come to mind:

    Tainted Love (Soft Cell)

    Shake You Down (Gregory Abbot)

Keep Your Hands To Yourself (Georgia Satellites)

Come On Eileen (Dexy's Midnight Runners)

We're Not Gonna Take It (Twisted Sister)

Yes, mine have an 80's slant to them...it's the music of my youth.

Technically, wouldn't "Touch of Grey" by the Grateful Dead be a one-hit wonder?

Probably not may favorite, but I like the Dead..

Hey - got to take issue with the Oils being a one hit wonder. Maybe in the US but they are the 80's equivalent of AC/DC in Oz.

Didn't Kate Bush also sing the Power of Love from the 80's.

Everytime I hear one hit wonder I think of Fairground Attraction - hopeless song but it just sings out as being a one hit wonder. The kiss of death in the 80's was being on the best of or hot hits albums for the year.

Re: Your favorite one-hit wonders, please...

"You Don't Want Me Anymore" - Steele Breeze

"3 Strange Days" - School of Fish

"Church of Logic, Sin, & Love" - the Men

"What's Up" - Four Non-Blondes (EDIT : I see now this was included by RL above - my bad)

I apologize in advance if my "recent unhipness" has caused me to miss a 2nd true hit (or more!) by any of these artists.
