Luis Quinones... no, wait

Stick to your guns.
Jay Ferguson - Thunder Island
Thunderclap Newman - Something in the Air
School's out. What did you expect?
The Houston Astros
The Ballad of Jayne - L.A. Guns
L.A. Guns had some good rockers that did well chart wise, albeit not as good as "Jayne".
"Never Enough" and "Kiss My Love Goodbye" also did well.

I know it was a stupid song but it had a good beat and it was easy to dance to.

Such a good breakup song.

Your Mom is happy.
Rick Springfield was not a one-hit wonder -- far from it. He hit the charts with a number of songs in the early-to-mid 80's, including "Human Touch", "Don't Talk to Strangers", the unfortunate "Bop 'til You Drop", and my personal fave "Love Somebody".Jesse's Girl - Rick Springfield
My own one-hit-wonder list includes:"
Come On Eileen - Dexy's Midnight Runners
99 Luftbaloons (in the original Deutch) - Nena
Crash - The Primitives
Prime Mover - Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Reaction (I don't know if this even qualifies as a "hit")
Song 2 - Blur (mandatory kickoff music at every NFL game)

Oh, now I take issue with this one...Blur is an amazing band, they've been around for at least 15 years (and still going strong) and have seven albums to their credit. They are one of the most respected bands in Europe. Their members spawned Gorillaz as well as a couple of very interesting side projects. Here in America, yes that was their biggest hit and it kind of gets to me that it's what they're known for...but even here that's not the ONLY thing they're known for, they have a lot of fans and I daresay some other hit songs too. Girls & Boys, There's No Other Way...uh, these are well-known songs, right? I think?Originally Posted by Johnny Footstool

Ah, but Song 2 is the only song that charted in the U.S., hence the "one-hit wonder" title.Oh, now I take issue with this one...Blur is an amazing band, they've been around for at least 15 years (and still going strong) and have seven albums to their credit. This principle can also be applied to decent bands like L.A. Guns (who made good music, but only produced one "hit") and incredible artists like Michael Penn ("No Myth" was one of his only hits, but probably the worst song on his "March" album).
We're talking strictly charted hits, here.

Technically....Jimi Hendrix was a 1 hit wonder........... how sad is that.
But you are not going to put him and Tommy James and the Shondels....or Paul revere and the Raiders in the same category. Even though the latter 2 had more "Hits"
Now don't be dissing Draggin the Line.
You want a 1- hit wonder?

More often than not, when someone is telling me a story all I can think about is that I can't wait for them to finish so that I can tell my own story that's not only better, but also more directly involves me.
