Not surprisingly, scooped up by Jim Bowden:
Nationals signed infielders Brandon Larson, Anthony Medrano and Rayner Bautista to minor league contracts.
Larson, a long-time Reds prospect, was out of baseball for much of last year. He hit .289/.353/.519 in 135 AB for Double-A Frisco in his only action. Larson turns 30 in May, so his chances of establishing himself as a bench player don't look good. Washington appears to be an especially bad fit for him. Feb. 9 - 8:21 pm et
