So, when Wayne Krivsky trades Austin Kearns to the Twins ...

... what should he be asking in return?

It probably won't happen until the weather heats up, but the Twins are going to need an OF with some power and if anyone can convince that organization to pull the cork out of its backside it should be Krivsky.

Anyway, my suggestion is Glen Perkins and Adam Harben.

I like your idea there M2, I don't know if I can come up with too much better. One I wouldn't be upset about would be Durbin(and put him in the pen) and Perkins.

I would rather see possibly Itzuris and Ruggliano (maybe if it can be swung a pitcher too) from the Dodgers.

I think Perkins and Harben would be a great return for Kearns. I was hoping to find a good catching prospect in their system (blocked by Mauer), but didn't see one that would be a dealbreaker if I didn't get them.

I agree with M2, any deal should start with Glen Perkins. Maybe even Scott Baker, or both.

I knew of the top few guys, but man, that organizational pitching depth is just sick. If Krivsky can do that sort of thing here, I will be a happy, happy guy.

Yea, that 2004 draft where they got Perkins, Waldrop, Rainville, and Swarzak, not to mention SS Trevor Plouffe, is a pretty good draft. I think they drafted Eduardo Morlan in that draft as well. It nice to know what to do with compensation picks.

I believe Bonser was brought up by either somebody here (me?) or the media previously.

I am not very well informed on minor leaguers in general, but the stats (if I'm reading them correctly) posted above indicate that Baker had the least impressive strikeout rate per nine innings of any of the pitchers listed. I'd prefer some pitchers who have high K rates.
