    Jason Anderson worth picking up?

Now that we picked up Gosling doesnt this guys stats last year deserve a pickup?
    per rotoworld:
Yankees designated RHP Jason Anderson for assignment.
The move makes room for Darrell Rasner on the roster. Anderson, 26, had a 2.66 ERA in 67 2/3 innings for Triple-A Columbus last season and batters hit just .190 off him, so he might be claimed off waivers. The Yankees won't miss him, though. Feb. 11 - 5:10 pm et

Judging only by the numbers you just posted, I would say he is most definitely worth a long look. Nice find.
Benzinger backing and calling! And the 1990 world championship series belongs to the Cincinnati Reds!

With the signing of Hatteberg though, who else would get the boot if we picked this guy up?

I might of DFA him before Hudson, though Luke was real rough last year, he still has an arm.

I don't know why we are so hard on Bong, he hasn't ever really gotten much of a chance, alot like Bruce Chen before him who actually did pretty well for Baltimore last year when given a chance. Least we forget he wasn't the worst on the team when he was sent back down in '04, in fact far from it.

well, his k/bb ratio is less than desirable and he gives up more than a hit per inning.

Oh and after 2002 his lowest ERA in the minors has been 4.50, and that was last year, when he appeared in just 1 game.

Andersons ERA and opp Batting average make him attractive.

    Bong had lots of potential.

Before he blew out his arm, that is.
    ---

In the Darrell Rasner/Jason Anderson swap, the Yankees simply exchanged known middle reliever-ness (JA) for potential and youth (DR, who's a couple years younger and was a much higher draft choice). It's not totally unlike the Gosling/Hudson decision.

San Diego Padres Claimed pitcher Jason Anderson off waivers from the New York Yankees; designated Kenny Baugh for assignment.
Does anyone know if Baugh would be worth a look.
