It helps so much that Harris has started to earn minutes. He is that extra spark of offense that is really hard for someone to stop if he can hold his own in other phases of the game. Being 6'8" and with that silky stroke, not many people can keep him from getting that shot off, especially if he at all demonstrates that he just might take it to the rack once or twice. But he sure sparked us in the Mich game, and gives us another place to turn to when everyone else has gone cold.

Tonight's game is a big one as well.

Such is the life of a 2006 BigTen team I guess.

    Should be a good one!

I hate losing to the freakin' Badgers in anything. It's like losing to a polka band's inbred children.

Some people play baseball. Baseball plays Jay Bruce.

Yeah, I'm not at all surprised either. I had the same feeling about this one as I did going to Happy Valley this past football season. But when we got off to a good start and built a 13-point lead, I thought we were golden.

Here's something that strikes me as funny. The Wisconsin students did the obligatory "OVERRATED" chant as the game was obviously going to go their way. These are college students, so you would hope reason and logic would at least be a part of their thought process, even guys with basketballs on their heads and faces painted and jumping up and down as if worshipping in an ecstatic mystery religion manner.

Yet they don't realize that they are minimizing the win for their team because the team they beat was "overrated." So, it wasn't an outstanding effort by the inbred children of polka dancers that resulted in the win, it was that the other team really wasn't that good.

Yea, I thought about that way more than the chanters did.

Nice, traderumor. Makes sense. Unfortunately, Buckeye fans were doing it to Illinois last Sunday.

    What goes around comes around.

And to complicate things even further. When we beat Wisconsin a month or so ago, they were ranked #13. So, obviously they were overrated.

When they beat us Wed, we were #12.

so a month ago, they lost a game, in theory that they should have never lost. But on Wednesday, it was a huge upset (an unranked team beating #12). Confusing.

Check this out...even though the Bucks were 1-1 last week (with a loss to Wisconsin), they still managed to move up in the RPI rankings (from 8 to 7). That's huge.

    1 Duke 25-1 0.7082 2 0.6195 2 2
    2 Villanova 21-2 0.6756 8 0.5980 4 4
    3 Connecticut 23-2 0.6617 38 0.5673 1 1
    4 Tennessee 19-4 0.6603 9 0.5973 8 10
    5 Memphis 24-2 0.6475 46 0.5617 3 3
    6 Pittsburgh 20-4 0.6398 43 0.5633 9 9
    7 Ohio State 19-4 0.6383 29 0.5763 12 12
    8 Michigan St 18-7 0.6302 21 0.5860 16 16
    9 Gonzaga 23-3 0.6274 87 0.5343 5 5
    10 Iowa 20-7 0.6273 26 0.5790 18 20
For every action there is an equal and opposite criticism.
