    "Undercover detectives in this Washington, D.C., exurb have their sheriff's blessing to receive sexual services at massage parlors so they can catch suspects in the act.

    Spotsylvania County Sheriff Howard D. Smith, who limits the work to unmarried detectives, stands by the practice.

    "If I thought we could get the conviction without that, we wouldn't allow it," Smith told The Washington Post, which on Monday reported on the policy.

    Court documents show that four times last month, county detectives allowed women at Moon Spa to perform sex acts on them _ once leaving a $350 tip. The practice isn't new, Smith said."

    glad to see that is all the crime in Fredricksburg..I am sure there are no drug dealing, arm assualts or murders to be concerned about...after these stings perphaps they can move on to jaywalking.

    It used to happen in Columbus too, and not very long ago at that.
