Will Jerry Narron be on a short leash?

How much rope will the K man give the Red's skipper before he invites him to join O'Brien in the ranks of the unemployed? Will he make it a whole season?

If the REDS are winning why not - its about performance not egos or personalities.

He has 1 year on his contract and there were no major changes in a squad that played 41-41 ball under him last year. I'd say outside of some major clubhouse management issues, there's not much that could happen that would jeopardize his job. There's pretty much no record we could put up at which point you could say, "well, looks like Narron really dropped the ball with this group."

Unless they are really horrible he probably makes it through the season. RCast will probably hire Piniella for next season though.

First lineup that has Aurilia Womack and Hatteberg batting in the top 5 spots should be firing day
