    My opening day sob story

If anyone has an extra ticket ....

I have been to 9 opening days in a row. In that span I have given tickets to family, neighbors, friends, and fellow redszoners at COST. This year we all came up zeros.

If anybody has a spare ticket(s), I'd sure appreciate it. PM me, I'll be back on line this afternoon or this evening.

/feel free to post your own opening day sob story.

I might have a spare, just bought 4 on eBay for 3 of us going. My brother in law may find another person to go since we offered it to him first. It's section 143 if that matters.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Cincinnati Bengals - None
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

That would be great, but I would have to have 2. The little lady wouldn't appreciate sitting home.

Joseph I might be interested in your one ticket if it becomes available.

All I know is I did my good deed last year, selling my 3 extra tickets to a board member for virtually face value. I hope my good deed doesn't go unoticed, and someone has some extras for me this year.

I may or may not have one extra. My mother called me today and is thinking about going to the game with me, but if she backs out, then I will have that ticket available. It's only a standing room only, but it still gets you in the park.

Re: My opening day sob story

The problem with opening day is EVERYBODY has someone close to them that will take the extra's. I hope it works out for everyone here.

Joe or ORH - I'd be interested in the single. PM me if one of them becomes available.

    Thanks much for the consideration.

Just go on down to the park and get a ticket from a scalper.

If you are a real fan, it doesn't matter where you sit, and it doesn't matter the cost. It's opening day, splurge, have fun.

Together with five or six friends, "acquire" enough standard-issue fire department coats, helmets, and axes for all. Run as a group up to the busiest gate you can find. Sternly and loudly ask the ticket taker to point out the quickest route to the southeast elevators. Run past him in the direction indicated. Procede to restroom, discard props.

    Makes all the routine posts.
