Any chance of Soriano in Cincy?

He's stated he doesn't want to play in the outfield, and Jimbo's penchant for Reds players do you all think the Reds could work up a deal?Of course the Nats would have to eat some of his salary.

Soriano is expensive and seems that last season anyways, he couldnt hit if he wasnt playing at home. I wouldnt want him unless the Nat's took a big chunk o fhis salary.

You have to get on base to steal one.

His yearly walk totals and steal totals are about the same, that's a wart ya can't love since he fields 2nd like Pete Rose in the 70's.

60 more OBP points, and 9 million less dollars and you've got Ryan Freel.

He would be nice but we need pitching and he doesn't pitch.

First thing I thought about with this was what about maybe Pena and Milton for Soriano and maybe Patterson or a couple pitching spects? We all know how Bowden dispises them .

Might be too much for the Nats to give up. The two principles in the deal should be Soriano and Milton. After that you can work around who else should be involved. Perhaps you could throw Womack in there. Even if I did get Soriano, I'd think about flipping him back to the Yankees. You might get George and Cashman to bite on getting Soriano back.
