It does suck that TV channels played it everyday and it ends up making people not appreciate how truely great the movie is. It's in my Top 5 movies of all-time.Originally Posted by CrackerJack
But TNT, AMC, TBS, etc playing it all week every week makes it get old because people feel they've seen it 40 times.
I could watch the last hour of Shawshank Redemption time and time again.
Tim Robbins did well. What a caper.
Some people play baseball. Baseball plays Jay Bruce.
I can remember when it was on once a year, but lately, it seems like the Wizard of Oz has been on TV every other night.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

It's in Mansfield. Very cool. Looks exactly like the movie.

I loved Shawshank Redemption, but it does seem to be on a lot.
Braveheart was on the other night again. I think I've seen it 50 times and never tire of it. It's one of my favorites. I have it on DVD and still watched it.
amc or spike lately show nothing but james bond movies over and over
"Uncle Buck" has been on USA a bunch lately...
Well, baseball is around the corner. Look for "A League of Their Own" to be on seemingly every night and my wife will watch it with the commercials despite the fact we have it on DVD.
Well I would rather watch Shawshank Redemption that all the kiddie movies I've had to watch over the past 3 years. However, I just saw "Curious George" last weekend and that is one kids film I will gladly watch again.
I think the all-time "I can't believe this movie is on again" for me was a movie back in the '80s called "Solarbabies."

The Untouchables was on tonight. Seems like it's been on a lot lately.
