Came in the first inning and the Reds are saying it's only a bruise

I wonder if Austin gets nervous when thunderstorms approach. Talk about a bad luck lightning rod...

Glad it was only a minor thing and they only took him out as a precaution

Kearns is going to continue to get hit on the arms and hands. Its the way he hits and the way he's pitched to.
He should really get himself some battle armor like Bonds.

In positive news it looks like griffey started off the spring well

Goodbye for now: Center fielder Ken Griffey Jr. was 2-for-3 in the scrimmage with a double to the warning track in right-center field. Afterwards, he left the club to fly to Arizona and join Team USA for the World Baseball Classic.

Man, you have to hope Kearns stays healthy this year. But, it seems to me that even if he went down, Freel would see the brunt of the playing time as a result.

That being said, should Freel go down as well, then there would be real trouble.

Kearns is an absolute Shleprock. The guy is an injury waiting to happen.
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.
