    Lancaster's Blog: "Something's Brewing"

He said he's not sure what or how significant, but something is going to go down today. He said to check back in an hour or so.

    Trade???

    Anyone know anything??

You would think it would be alittle too early in spring training to see a significant trade going down.

    Jerry Narron's been fired.

Rich Aurilia & Tony Womack are traded to the Rockies.

Marc Lancaster's been traded to the Dayton Daily News for Chick Ludwig and a FCTBNL (Food Critic to be named later).

Anyone of those is fine with me

    UPDATE:
    No moves coming

LAKELAND -- I've been told there is no trade in the works. No signings, either. Sorry for providing any false hopes there.

I'll get back to you in a while.

Well, true or not this is golden opportunity to start a baseless rumor.

I'll go with Dave Williams to the Cardinals for Adam Wainwright.

Who would take Williams' spot? Wainwright? Gosling? or other?

Wainwright. There's a lot of chatter that LaRussa is convinced he needs a lefty swingman for that staff and supposedly Krivsky's ready to go coyote arm over Dave Williams.

And your baseless rumor is? C'mon man, just pluck something out of the air.
