I'll preface this by saying I don't think it will happen, but it seems like a reasonable deal for all involved:
Nats
Give: Soriano, Low minors pitcher
Get: Pena, Milton
Reds
Give: Pena, Milton, 3MM
Get: Nolasco, Hill, Low minors pitcher
Cubs
Give: Nolasco, Hill
Get: Soriano, 3MM
You could add some minor guys or change the Cubs minor leaguers or whatever to balance it out, but that would be the gist of it. The Reds would pay the cubs a tad to lower the hit they'd be taking salary wise, but still be shedding a bunch of salary. The Reds would get some arms close to the majors, the Cubs would get a second baseman and 3rd power bat, and the Nats get a LF who Bowden loves, a back end rotation starter who will fare much better in RFK.
Now I don't know that much about either Hill or Nolasco, so perhaps they're too much/little. I'm open to thoughts though...
