    American Idol 3/8...who's gone?

I think we've seen the last of Peter Brady and, I hope, Kevin the Geek.

Neither were impressive at all tonight. But I still have a theory that geeks everywhere unite and keep guys like Kevin, Anthony Federov, and Jon Stevens around much longer than they deserve to be. We'll see.

My favorite performance of the evening? Definately Taylor Hicks. Dude just entertains the dickens out me.

Bucky was also surprisingly good, IMO. I'm not a Bucky fan but I think he brought the goods tonight.

Ace was just okay. I've got nothing against him, I'd just prefer someone else to win.

I didn't get to see Gedeon but I heard that he was good tonight.

    Your thoughts?

I love Bucky...I hope he makes it to the final four.

I would cut Chicken Little and Peter Brady.

Gedeon was very good. Chris impressed the heck out of me again. He may the best the bets male vocal ever on the show. Elliot was good again, imo. Taylor is awesome. Very good singer, great personality, BAD dancer.

Girls-I would cut Melissa and Kinnik.

I hope Melissa sticks around for a while longer. I dig her voice. Would like to see her get another shot or two. I'm hoping Ayla and Kinnik get whacked.

    Re: American Idol 3/8...who's gone?

I think Kevin and Will are most likely gone, but I could also see Gedeon or Bucky going as well.

Gedeon was OK tonight, but nothing special. His facial expressions annoy me.... A LOT. And he seems to be a one trick pony as far as the high belt notes. He does those really well.

Chris was good again tonight, but I agree with Simon's comment that he needs to be careful no to become too predictable. But he's awesome at what he does.

Dude, Kevin is terrible. Seriously, he has no polish at all and always has to slide into any note above his middle range. He has no polish whatsoever and he has no clue how to actually perform. He hardly moved tonight with his right hand extended to the square right in front of him. Seriously, he has no business being here.

Bucky was OK, but nothing special. I could go either way on him.

I thought Elliot was very average tonight and I'm a fan of his. He better be careful. His voice sounded good, but I was bored. As Simon would say it was a "so what" very forgettable performance. He's better than that.

Will was just bad and hopefully will be heading home. He annoys me as well. He seems to be puttingon an act when he's in front of the judges.

I freaking love Taylor, even if he's not the best singer. He's so genuine and he's unique. Plus, he's darn good and knows how to entertain. He seems to have no ego and I like that.

I'm sorry to continue to rag on Ace, but I really thought he was attrocious tonight. I could hardly listen. If this were only audio, I don't think he's survive, but he's Ace so he's got nothing to worry about. He does the sexy thing to the camera and that's about it. I thought his performance was very gimmicky tonight and vocally horrible.

    Re: American Idol 3/8...who's gone?

I thought they were all pretty bad tonight, actually.

Kevin's song choice was from space. I love that song but there's no way that a 16 year old should be singing that on American Idol. He also sounds funny when he hits any "s" in a song.

Ace? I'm over him. Just too cool for school- and what is up with the Michael Jackson fetish these people have? Molester or not, he's a has-been with just a handful of songs that are even listenable today. Whatever that was tonight, it was atrocious. Ace belongs in a band like Color Me Badd, which is not a compliment.

That's true. He does sing every song like it's I Wanna Sex You Up. He needs to stop touching himself. Seriously, it's embarassing.

I agree with you, none of the performances were very special tonight.

    Re: American Idol 3/8...who's gone?

Kevin is the easy cut this week, and I think Will gets the boot as well. I could see Elliot going because he doesn't really have the look and he did have an off week, but he should survive. Absolutely hated Ace's falcetto thing, that was horrible, but he'll make it easily. Taylor reminded me of Carlton from "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" the way he was dancing, and I thought for sure he was going to pick up the mike stand and shatter it at the end of the song, but it was pretty entertaining. Chris was his normal strong self. Gedeon and Bucky are both improving, but I don't know how much longer they can last.
