I know the characters have to grow, but they don't have to grow into boring.
I keep expecting that they'll have Pam end up hooking up with someone from school.

I suspect its hard for the writers to figure out what to do with the whole Jim/Pam thing, knowing that once they get married, it may well mess up the chemistry of the show. I don't think it has to though, as long as they avoid having too many episodes that focus on Jim and Pam and not enough on the other characters. I think the characters of Dwight, Stanley, Andy, Creed, Kevin and Angela are brilliant. Having Dwight fill the "Jim" role of tormenting Andy with the Cornell stuff was great.

I watched the first 15 minutes of this last night and it seemed pretty good. Jim & Pam with the tiny bluetooths and Jim harassing Dwight on the practice sales call were pretty funny.

I like Kelley's panicked excuse about why she falsified Dwight & Jim's customer reviews:

    "Uhm...I was raped?

The better part was that apparently its not the first time she had used that excuse in the office lol.

Maybe Pam will have a fling with the guy from Mad Men who gave her the NYC pep-talk... there seemed to be just a touch of foreshadowing tension there.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

So far I am not impressed with the new season, the first two episodes were ok but the last two weeks were passable at best.
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

We need more Creed! There has to be a hundred ways to write a funny episode around that crazy bastard.

Between both Michael and Dwight's imcompetence, that scene was funny on so many levels.

I got a huge chuckle out of Pam screaming "That's what she said! That's what she said!"

Not sure what you were watching, but the past two weeks were way better than passable. They were very funny!!!
because at the end of the day, they still are the Chicago Cubs, and they will figure out a way to screw this whole thing up--Marty B.

Darryl in the van when Micheal and Holly were breaking up was funny but last weeks episode did nothing for me and I really like this show.

    Re: The Office

Did anyone catch the post-Superbowl show and tonights episode?

Looks like they've found the stride again to me. Dwight with the fire and "today smoking will save lives" as well as "next week I've got a bomb scare planned to really keep them on their toes" was classic.
