Tuffy is looking good so far this spring.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

I think that is at least two straight good outings for Wagner

Freel is not doing so hot. Given that Womack has been decent, this does not bode well...
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Freel is not going to be our everyday 2B...It is Womacks to lose

Having the entire staff walk only one guy is definately a good thing. Looks like Mercker had a pretty good day at the office unlike Elizardo and Weathers.

Weathers hasn't been so hot the past week or so. Really starting to scare me.

Yea Leader and it's not like he's even facing ML-caliber hitting yet either.

Hopefully it's like last year when everyone wanted to run him out of town on a rail after his slow start the first month and he came back to pitch decent the rest of the year.

But with the finger injury, who knows for sure.

Yeah, Weathers seems to be improving slowly after a really bad start. Kent Mercker seemed sharp right off the bat, though.

Yeah, I realize that he's behind schedule about a month, but last year he wasn't behind schedule and he stunk the first month of the season. Does that mean that he's going to stink the first two months of this season?

Cash in. I'd bet plenty of teams would give up something for a pitcher like Weathers this time of year. Maybe he could be packaged with Dave Williams (idea credited to M2) for a little bigger return.

It was Womack's already, only an EE like spring would help.

Why can't RA be the starter at 2B if Freel is out of the running?
