    Danyelle Sargent (born c. 1978), is an African American sports television reporter.

    Sargent was hired, in 2003, by the television network, ESPN, to work on their ESPNews channel. Prior to that, she had some experience working as a sports reporter for a local channel in Kansas City.

    In March 2006 during an incident on ESPNEWS, which is broadcast live, a taped segment played simultaneously with the normal anchor segment, causing her coanchor, Robert Flores, to be drowned out. Thinking their mics had been cut (which is the normal procedure when cutting to a taped segment), she exclaimed "What the (expletive deleted) was that?" over the broadcast
