Farewell to Wily Mo game thread - 3/20/06 vs. Blue Jays

2-0 after one. Don't know what happened, but Weathers is still on the mound to start the 2nd.

1-2-3 top of the second by Weathers, still 2-0 TOR. Can't do full PBP, but I'll give updates as I can.

Lopez and Jr. had hits in the first. The second so far, Kearns single, LaRue K, McCracken single. Hatteburg PHing for Weathers right now, Freel on deck.

Hatteburg grounded out 1-6-3. Sounded like a possible DP if the SS had fielded the throw cleanly.

Freel grounds to SS to end the inning. After 2, TOR 2 CIN 0

I'm bitter right now, but seeing as that is what so upset the masses last year, Casey and the DP, seems Hatteberg is filling his role nicely

Ok, that's it. I'm done with this for the day. Good night.

So he can face their better players instead of scrubs at the end of the game. It's nothing unusual to see a closer work the first inning of a ST contest.
    I'm not a system player. I am a system.

3-0 Jays in the middle of the 3rd.

Jays scored on 2 hits and an error. I couldn't tell if the error was on Freel or Kearns.

    Odds on it was Freel.

Reds have 3 errors on the day so far. All without Wily Mo.

Didn't hear it all, was there an error? Joe was talking about how Freel broke the wrong way on a ball, but thought it went as a hit. By the way, for those who don't know it's Marty & Joe today.
