I will be.
I will be.

nope no usa not tuning in only one major leaguer in ichiro 2
It's history. In 20 years this thing will be HUGE. Gotta say you saw the first one.
"A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it."
there will be a lot of passion between the two teams. i dont need major leaguers to watch baseball. Go watch a college game, it is good stuff, even with mediocre teams with no future pro's.
I'll be watching - with bells on.
Or something like that
(Fast forward to 25 years from now, while watching the 6th WBC.)
Son: Hey dad, I bet it was awesome to watch the first ever World Baseball Classic championship.
Me: I didn't get to watch it, ESPN decided to show a friggin' NIT game.
I miss Adam Dunn.
Son: They didn't show it on ESPN 7?Originally Posted by OnBaseMachine

Per MLB.com's gameday
Japan is the visiting team tonight.
Leadoff batter grounded out
Japan's Two hole hitter singled to SS.
Ichiro then walked
The 4 hitter Matsunaka then singled to load the bases.
The something happened to the Cuban Starter Odelin, because he was replaced with Romero after 7 pitches.
So with the bases loaded - the Cuban out of the pen, Romero, then beaned Tamura, allowing Nishioka to score, but K'd the next batter.
Bases Loaded, two outs, 1-0 Japan in the top of the First
Scratch that - Romero was the Cuban starter - he lasted 23 pitches before being pulled.
Odelin was the Cuban relief pitcher and is currently on the mound
He now has walked the Japanese 1st baseman on 8 pitches, walking in another run
Imae the 3rd baseman is now up, bases still loaded, 2-0 Japan with 2 outs
Imae singles to center.
2 runs score.
Runners now at 1st & 2nd with 2 outs.
Aoki the 9 hitter now at the plate
Delay as the Cuban skipper visits the mound
Ouch - another relief pitcher for Cuba
Norberto Gonzalez is now pitching.
Gonzales stops the bleeding.
Now Cuba up to bat, down 4-0 in the bottom of the 1st
And wouldn't you know it - ESPN decides to show the game.
Those 12 guys watching the NIT must be pretty upset.
Paret, the Cuban leadoff hitter, just hit a hanging curve into the seats.
