Ohio State is on - let me know when they show up.

    Thanks!

Ohio State is in trouble today if they don't start shooting better. Now 1 for 13 on three pointers.

bucks are down by four at the half. They DID NOT come ready to play.

They look sloppy and lazy if you ask me.

What happened to their 3-point shooting? How does an entire team go south all at once?

The team is distracted because their coach is leaving for Indiana.

Bad shooting will make you look that way, as will nerves. I can't imagine that they are not ready to play after sitting out last year, but inexperience and pressure.

One has to think that they will shoot better than 30% in the second half. Typical NCAA 1st round game.

I realize that emotions are at play, but I really don't understand "they didn't come to play" comments at any level. It would be impossible for me to think that a team playing the way this team has all year is all of a sudden deciding to tank it in round 1

You know what? Even if he did, OSU would have a long line of top-tier coaches lining up at the door begging for the job. What coach wouldn't want Oden, Conley, Lighty, Cook, and Hunter?

Matta's not going anywhere but even if he was, the Bucks would be more than fine.

Has nothing to do with deciding to tank it. Has everything to do with not taking their opponent seriously enough. That's what not coming ready to play means.

I figured as much. Still wanted to make that point, though.

Again, impossible to believe. Plain and simple, they are not hitting shots. It is impossible to fathom that it is effort related and taking the opponent lightly. That's just an excuse for playing bad.

I say that the reason they're playing bad is because they didn't come ready to play.

And it's not just that they're not hitting shots, they're not boxing out, they're not defending well...are you watching the game?

It also could be that Davidson is a worthy opponent. I really didn't expect a cakewalk, I figured this would go the way most early round games do. The higher seed comes out tight, the low seed comes out with nothing to lose and plays loose. The higher seed gets calmed down in the second half and the talent takes control of the game. Might not happen, but that's what I expected after watching this stuff every year for 30 years.
