UC given permission to speak with Mick Cronin

    http://frontier.cincinnati.com/blogs/cincybearcats/

    Second story down.

Off the heels of the Hobbs rumors, this makes me feel much better. Mick would be a much better fit here and he's not stuck in a recruitng scandal at the moment.

It's looking like UAB's Mike Anderson might be headed to Mizzou. You would think Kennedy would be the #1 choice for that job, the played there and is a UAB alum.

I hesitate to post this one, because it's not totally certain, but I have heard that the final candidates for the job were Kennedy and Cronin and that Cronin will be named the coach after UC is done in the NIT. Don't take this at complete face value, but it's what I've heard.
And this one belongs to the Reds!!!- Hall of Famer Marty Brennaman
