Going to The Reds/Atl game on July 8th. Hopefully when I go back to Cincinnati to visit friends and family I'll catch a home game or two.

May 29th and 30th in Chicago with my girlfriend.
I'm going to try to see the new Busch Stadium this year.

prolly a couple of the games in pittsburgh
We might go to the series in Detroit. We went up there for the Reds series in Tiger Stadium. It was on of the things I wanted to do before I die, actually. I stood behind the plate before the game in the first row, and I could almost see some game several decades past. We thought about staying in Canada during the series as I heard it is cheaper there, but I haven't decided yet
I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.

Not only cheapter, but cleaner too. A lot of good places over there to eat, or drink if that's your thing.Originally Posted by 919191
I went to a few games at Tiger Stadium. There's nothing like going to an old park like that. You feel rather small when you consider all the history of the place. As to road games this year, I will most likely have to combine one with a trip to see someone else so I can justify it with my wife. I have a great aunt in Milwaukee, so there or Chicago is a possibility. St. Louis might work since we have friends in Kansas and maybe I could talk her into making a little pit stop there on the way out or back.
The Windsor hotels are quite expensive for that weekend...I have been looking myself.Originally Posted by 919191
EDIT: I did check and yes, in fact it is Victoria Day Weekend which will drive the price of Windsor Hotels up.

Nothing to see here. Please disperse.
I envy you, I had a trip planned to Tiger Stadium in 1999 and I had to cancel it due to the fact that some company wanted to buy our company and I had to go to some meetings concerning it.We went up there for the Reds series in Tiger Stadium. I never got to say goodbye and that just sucks.
Its still standing....sorta.Originally Posted by westofyou

Yeah, you can see the field and it's slow decline on Google Earth.Originally Posted by Heath
First post ever, long time reader. I feel really special. . .
Anyways, I live outside of DC in Virginia, and I already have my tickets for the Nats series at RFK. I've got seats in the first row in right field, same as last year. A couple HR's came real close last year, which isn't easy to do there!
I wanna hit Shea Stadium up for a couple reasons. My fiance lives in NJ and isn't far from Shea, and I've always wanted to catch the Reds playing in the big apple. It's a monday through thursday series, so I don't see how I can work it with my job, only having weekends off.
I usually go up the street and see at least one Cubs/Reds game every time they are in town. I am going to miss the May trip though because my wife is due on the 17th and I would feel a little guilty leaving her at home. I will be there in April and our son will get to go to his first game come September.
My friends and I have a whirlwind NL baseball tour planned, including, if God finally smiles upon me, Great American Ballpark, which I still have not seen.
Other than that I will just be bumming it out at the two stadiums here whenever I have a few extra bucks. Will be at Yankee Stadium a couple of times too.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.
