Jason Larue is scheduled to have surgery to repair a tear in his meniscus in his right knee tomorrow.

I think it's time to sign Carlos Pena, more than ever. Larue out at least 2 weeks, he will not go on the DL right now.

Maybe Krvisky knew something could be wrong with LaRue and pulled the trigger so we don't have to see Sardinha or Perez.Originally Posted by Jpup

Definitely going to want to pick up some offense to offset Larue's massive positional offensive output.
And no more no-field, no-hit whizzes like Sanchez or Hatteberg.

Perez is a no field guy? Miggy is going to be one of the best defensive catchers in AAA this year.Originally Posted by flyer85
Knowing this, I'm surprised they didn't have Valentin catch for Arroyo yesterday.
Maybe they didn't know it until yesterday, and said get it fixed... now. Who knows! Marty and Steve mentioned that it was kept under wraps well, which makes me think they just found out.
