Good to see Richie and Pauly back. Hopefully they can stay healthy and regain their stuff that made them top prospects back in 2004. The Lookout rotations looks like it will shape up to be: Richie Gardner, Travis Chick, Thomas Pauly, Phil Dumatrait, and Calvin Medlock.

Although the opening day roster for the 2006 Lookouts may not be complete until the last day of spring training, it appears that the team will be a mixture of returning players and players that spent the 2005 season playing for the Reds high-A Sarasota team.
Stephen Smitherman was listed for Chattanooga but was released Monday by Cincinnati. Smitherman saw little action in spring training due to physical problems.
Three players are in Baseball America’s list of top ten prospects for Cincinnati: Miguel Perez (catcher), Joey Votto (first base), and Travis Chick (RHP.
