3/28 Red Stockings vs. Red Sox

    Lineup per Marc:
    Red Sox
    Coco Crisp CF
    Kevin Youkilis 3B
    David Ortiz DH
    Manny Ramirez LF
    Wily Mo Pena RF
    Hee-Seop Choi 1B
    Enrique Wilson 2B
    Alex Cora SS
    Josh Bard C
    (Matt Clement P)

    Reds
    Tony Womack 2B
    Felipe Lopez SS
    Ken Griffey Jr. CF
    Adam Dunn DH
    Edwin Encarnacion 3B
    Scott Hatteberg 1B
    Brian Buchanan RF
    Ryan Freel LF
    David Ross C
    (Dave Williams P)
Ross gets the start because a righty is pitching? And I though Killer B was going to get some work at 1B?

Jerry Narron's past his probation with me. With the pitching as bad as it is, the only joy this team can give is the offense. Yet he keeps not only playing Womack, but he keeps putting him at the top of the lineup.

I want both Narron and Womack gone yesterday.

Shouldn't the title read "The Original Red Sox vs. The We-Stole-Your-Name-Because-We-Bought-Your-Shortstop-in-1871-Red-Sox?

George & Harry Wright started it all. First Free Agents to leave Cincinnati. (Asa Brainard nonewithstanding)

Pardon me, I just got my history book taken away from me again.

If Jack Clark would come out of retirement, the Redsox could be the Pep Boys!

    Manny, (Willy)Mo, and jack!

For the Reds - it's right here baby!
This is going to be a good game. Hopefully no one will get socked.

Awfully hospitable of the Reds to go along with the DH thing this close to the season. I'm sure Big Papi is grateful.

It helps us as well. Without Freel we could lose this one.

It's on the radio, and on XM 184.

I don't have a real good feeling about Dave Williams against that particular line-up.

    At. all.

(not that I will have a real good feeling for him on other nights)

Womack 1st and Freel 8th. Maybe we could see that quite a bit.

He's going to stay back in Sarasota for the 1st go around and get some work in. The Reds will start out on a 4-man.

    EDIT: In response to Membengal
