I ordered one for a friend and I'm getting quite worried. I emailed tickets.com and called them and they said it's normal. Doesn't seem normal to me.

This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.
I bought mine from eBay a couple weeks ago and the guy I got them from bought them via tickets.com, so I'd be a little concerned yes.
Especially since when I got all the tickets I did buy via Tickets.com they also decided to send me some other persons tickets as well. They didn't at all seem to care when I contacted them to find out what to do with them and it was only when I tried to contact the Reds about it that they finally did something. IE, they didn't care until they thought I was going over their heads.
The story behind that is that I called tickets.com with the inproper shipment and they didn't want to help, just wanted me to send them back to them at my own expense. Well I didn't think that was right since they tack on 7.50 and order to ensure handling and all, so I sent an email to the reds via their website. Little did I know though that when you send an email on reds.com about tickets, it goes directly to tickets.com instead, so then and only then did they care to do something for me to help.

Gee Gollie I hoped they messed up and mailed them to me. Before I moved I tried to do that rediculous online ordering and call at 9am on a Saturday morning mombo jumbo.Originally Posted by Cedric
They mailed it out in February, ouch.
They said call them Saturday and they will void that one and let me pick up a new one at will call.
Total garbage. I blame the mail man.

If the mail man is in your seat I'd pack some heat.
Go Gators!
I wouldn't blame the mail man. Like I said, they sent the wrong ones to me too. They had folded over the top of my envelope onto another persons and attached hers to mine so I'd wager a similar happenin with yours.Originally Posted by Cedric

Yeah, and I can't wait to see who has that ticket. Ten bucks says they are REAL fired up when the barcode doesn't allow them in the game.Originally Posted by Joseph

Yes! Do it! It would make for a VERY interesting day given the fact that the Prez will be there.Originally Posted by KronoRed

That original ticket wouldn't even get Bush in. It's gonna be voided. And some poor guy in a Reds Jersey and Reds hat will be screwed out of the money he paid for that ticket.Originally Posted by max venable

You've got me worried someone sold me tickets on eBay that they also stole from someone else and I'm going to get up there and be denied entrance.Originally Posted by Cedric

I'm sorry, Mr. President. Your ticket has been reported 'stolen.' You'll have to come with us...Originally Posted by Cedric

I wonder how often that happens.Originally Posted by Joseph

I have an even wierder problem. My friends and I bought our tickets in person. The problem is that not a single one of us were charged for the tickets yet. I wanted to contact someone to make sure we just got charged accordingly and didn't get the tickets voided. My friends voted to wait it out and see what happens.
It should be interesting.
If we get denied at the gate, someone with the Reds will have a very upset fan to deal with.
Really, what would you have done if you were in our shoes?
Sounds like tickets.com or someone is dropping the ball.
And anytime you buy from Ebay get ready for ANYTHING. I'm sure I'm not the only one that got screwed with the mailing of a ticket.
